Water Treater Perfectionist – 1st Shift

Plateco is a growing plating facility in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and we are looking for a motivated, dependable Water Treater Perfectionist to join our Production Team on 1st Shift.
This position plays an important role in our operation by treating and monitoring wastewater generated from the plating process to ensure it is properly treated before being released. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of following procedures and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Monday through Thursday
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Friday through Sunday off when no overtime is needed.
- The 5th day is available for overtime based on production needs.
What You'll Do:
- Treat and monitor wastewater generated from the plating process.
- Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and systems.
- Follow established procedures for proper treatment and handling of process water.
- Monitor chemical levels and treatment processes and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Perform routine inspections and identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
- Work closely with Production and Management to ensure proper water treatment and compliance.
- Perform other duties as needed to support Plateco's operations.

- Excellent attendance and reliability are required.
- Production, manufacturing, wastewater, chemical handling, or related experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
- Strong work ethic and personal integrity.

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.

Pay & Growth Opportunities:
- Starting Pay: $24.00/hour.
